| What American accent do you have? Your Result: Philadelphia Your accent is as Philadelphian as a cheesesteak! If you're not from Philadelphia, then you're from someplace near there like south Jersey, Baltimore, or Wilmington. if you've ever journeyed to some far off place where people don't know that Philly has an accent, someone may have thought you talked a little weird even though they didn't have a clue what accent it was they heard. |

Tonight we had a little gathering/shower for my brother's lovely bride-to-be, Chantal. Complete with a fun, delicious cake, of course!

The five of us had a wonderful time hanging out and LAUGHING and talking about how God makes awesome margaritas out of life's lemons - haha. But he really does... :)
I am so excited to have Chantal as a sister!
Chantal is sitting next to me in the grey sweater.

I have been so bad at blogging this week...not to mention not having a chance to read other people's blogs.
And even now I'm not going to say anything of value.
So here's a randon picture of...my feet from yesterday. Thrilling, I know. :)
Oh yea, and I'm currently listening to
David Mead. It's
"Nashville" on his album "Indiana." His latest album is "Tangerine." Check him out.

Butterfly Boucher: FlutterbyI spent the day with my mom yesterday. We decided to go to the Philadelphia Flower Show - the largest indoor flower show in the world. We took the train because, well, it's fun, and you don't have to deal with traffic and insanely overpriced parking in Philly.
Our train was pretty empty since it was 8:30, as you can see.

We were pretty excited...and tired.

The 'theme' this year was "Legends of Ireland" so naturally we thought it would reflect a lot of Irish architecture, landscape, gardens, etc. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. However, a gang of Irish were there from the tourism industry to help lure more Americans to the Emerald Isle. As if Americans weren't already obsessed with it enough... :)
Me n' some flowers.

And lastly, proof that there is indeed a "society" for anything.
another good weekend, another good saturday
Spent the weekend in Pittsburgh, PA. Just got back this afternoon - driving through more SNOW. Hey, it's March. Could it at least be 40 degrees?? Not in Western PA...specifically Beaver County. I call it the "Ever-present bad weather cloud of Beaver." It's just a constant snow shower...but it's beautiful at least!
The weekend was full of seeing many wonderful, dear friends and "family" and meeting a lot of fabulous people for the first (or second) time (Rosh!).
Of course, I don't have any pictures from the weekend, but thankfully
Alicia does! These photos are of me and my dear friend Alicia. We hadn't seen eachother for almost three years - July 2004 was the last time we were together! The Lord has done a lot in each of our lives over those two years. It was a real blessing to see her again! These photos were taken on Saturday morning.
