happy mother's day & birthday, mom!
Listening to Without Gravity's album "Tenderfoot".Yep. Every few years my mom has to share Mother's Day & her birthday. It's almost as bad as sharing Christmas & your birthday. We went to Prince St. Cafe in Lancaster for some dessert drinks and to walk around town a bit. It was a beautiful evening.
Here's the mom and birthday girl. Isn't she beautiful?? I love her so much.
And me and the Dad Man (as I affectionately call him). Can you see where I get my good looks now? haha
And of course, I couldn't pass up a shot of the Union Jack in a store window downtown. I also just "had" to get my reflection in the window...just so you know I really took the picture...??? Anyway...
I'm so thankful for my mom! She is truly a precious gift. AND she's a breast cancer survivor! It's been four years...thank you Jesus for sparing her life. Today she celebrated her 58th. We look forward to MANY more years together as a family! :)

dan's mom's birthday falls on mother's day every now and then too. also i just wanted to say that i've always thought that you look just like your mom until i just saw the picture of you and your dad together and somehow you managae to look just like your mom and your dad at the same time.andij
You and your dad look so much alike.....just like me and my dad I might add! Your mom is beautiful and I love your self portrait with the union jack! Nice.
Cool post! So sweet to celebrate with your mom. My mom is also a breast cancer survivor from 4 years ago ... didn't realize we had that in common. Glad you're blogging again. I always enjoy your posts.
